Why? They love them. Tissue boxes, big boxes, small boxes, box like things such as toilet paper rolls and cardboard egg cartons. They will have a ball. They will take them everywhere, they will rip them apart, they will play with them, they love them. So note: recycle your cardboard by putting it in your rat's cage!
Now Included in Available Rat's descriptions
When selecting an available rat, you will now see, on a scale of 1-10, how playful, cuddly, adventurous, mischievous, affectionate, lazy or hyper I find this rat to be.
Please keep in mind, these ratings are from what I have observed in their current environment. This is not a personality guarantee. Please also keep in mind the age of the rat in question as rat's personalities change with age!
Baby rats that become available may not include personality descriptions or graphs as it is too early to tell what their personalities will be like when they are adults.
Hope this helps adopters when choosing their rats to bring home!

Some pictures of my boys from today! My little bub El Mist was holding this piece of food in his mouth for 5 minutes before taking a nibble, just carrying it around and showing it to his friends!
My himalayan baby boy is now available for adoption!
Some photos of Duncan and Cyclone's litter!
The other day I received a message from a lovely person who had come to home two of the babies from Duncan and Cyclone's first litter. I was so excited to hear from them and they had the generosity to send me a few photos of the babies (all grown up now!) and they brought back so many good memories.
Thank you to the adopter and here are the photos:
