I am hoping for BE siamese and BE sable babies from this litter!

An update on Metron and Trigonometry's litter!

Babies were born to Metron (a cinnamon variegated standard girl) and Trigonometry (a cinnamon variegated standard boy) on July 25, 2017!

I am expecting cinnamon and black DU babies <3

These little ones will likely be available for reservation in around 2-3 weeks time.

More photos of these babies can be seen here:

Good news and bad news.

Good news first.

This morning Fifty had her babies! I haven't yet counted how many there are but I believe we have around 10 little squeakers born. We are expecting agouti and black dumbos in both standard and dwarf sizes! If you are on the messaging list you will receive updated e-mails on the progress of the litter.

Bad news second.

I am so upset to say that Curly Fry, despite our best efforts, passed away from birthing complications. I apologize to those who have been waiting to see her litter. I am absolutely heartbroken. For this reason I apologize if my online work is not as fast as it should be. I will do my best to get update emails out and keep everyone in the loop.

I thank you all again for your continuous support, and I'm sure all of us are equally as excited to see Fifty's little ones grow up. Talk soon.

Rats and the Winter

Wintertime is here and it is time for a yearly reminder to keep your rats at a proper temperature!  I know the snow is beautiful and  we may love to bundle up and go play in the snow,  but our rattie friends would prefer to stay inside.  Please,  no matter how tempting,  do not bring your rats outside and into the snow.  It is dangerous for their body temperatures to drop drastically and unlike us they cannot just let themselves back inside or put on another jacket to keep themselves cozy.  Let's stay inside and play inside with our little rattie friends.

Be sure to also have your cage in a place that isn't too cold or too hot.  Keep your cages an appropriate distance from windows and heaters/radiators to keep everyone happy and healthy.

Thank you all for being responsible rat owners and giving your rats the care they need. <3
