As mentioned previously, I have been in the hospital for 19 days and counting, and the other day on the weekend when I knew no doctors would be popping by, between my medication times, I snuck home to see the pets <3
I also, strangely enough, took one of them on a ride in a 101 year old car! Cloraz came with me on a lovely car ride around the block. I got lots of snuggles and kisses and got to see 4 little babies born for just an hour before I had to head back to the hospital! It was such an exciting day.
We are hoping that my surgery to have a g-tube permanently placed into my stomach will be next Tuesday, I will have a permanent feeding tube in my belly and am just learning how to use it properly.
Hopefully with this surgery and with proper nutrition I will be able to spend even more time and effort on my pets and be able to improve and develop the rattery a bit more! I am hoping, if all recoveries go well, to make 2 pairings a month for the next few months starting in January, we will see how things go!
As mentioned, when I was home I also saw a litter of four that Karla had hidden beneath her <3 I was saying hello to everyone in the rat room when I heard tiny little peeps coming from the nursing bin behind me!! I went to look at the bebes asap, they are so cute! 4 little squeakers!
