Squirrel Rescue!

Just a couple days ago a few friends and I found a tiny red squirrel in the road. They seemed injured and had a hard time getting up and over the curb, so we picked them up in a blanket and brought them home. We set them up in a small temporary home with some food and water (note: check with a rescue before offering any wild animal any food and water!) for an overnight stay here.

The next day we brought this sweet little bebe up to the Squirrels of the World Rescue.  What an amazing place! The grounds are so beautiful, and the set ups for their rescues are absolutely amazing. I am so glad that I brought this little one to them, I know they are in great hands and will be released in the best of health.

Rescue ratties available for adoption!

An oops litter situation has arisen!
Our friend Marni brought home a lovely female rat from a feeder bin, and was surprised with a litter of little babies!
These rats have been hand raised and are very sweet. At 5 weeks of age they are looking for homes as soon as possible! Marni is located in Hamilton, and could deliver to Oakville, Burlington or Mississauga.
If you have room in your home for these sweet babies please contact me and I will put you in contact with Marni.

There are currently 6 female pew (pink eyed white) babies available, and 2 males, one a black hooded boy and the other a black berkshire. They are all top eared.
